Over the past 50 years Toyota has built more than 25 million cars and trucks in North America with their 14 North American facilities 10 of which are located in the U.S.. Toyota's commitment to drive more local business hasn't stopped there, and they're in the process of investing another $28 million to expand power-train operations at two facilities in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In the past 20 months Toyota has invested about $2 billion in it's North American facilities, creating more than 4,000 new jobs and counting. We think it's great that Toyota is moving more of its research, design, and development efforts to U.S., and creating more jobs for the American people. It really is a testament to how committed Toyota is to it's North American market.
