A motorcycle inspired Toyota vehicle.

Toyota has recently confirmed a new production vehicle and it only has 3 wheels. The vehicle shares much in common with a motorcycle, and is fully electric. It's Toyota's i-Road electric trike, and its a close range inner city commuting vehicle whose wheels don't function like that of a car with a steering rack. Instead the vehicle takes advantage of lean angles and drives much like a motorcycle would, making it very compact. It's an interesting little vehicle that would work great for folks who commute around downtown Charleston. It doesn't look like we will ever see the vehicle in the states, but its still quite a neat concept and the fact that it is actually going into production in the JDM (Japanese domestic market) says something about Toyota's confidence in a vehicle of this nature. Take a look at the pictures below and be sure to stay tuned to our blog for more information on all things Toyota!
